I feel you still here
I know that you feel our love
I know that you heard him singing
The part of you that lingers
Reminds me to be grateful
That I heard your heartbeat
On its last day of life

I'm glad that you are surrounded
By your brothers and sisters
in Heaven with Our Daddy
Our intercontinental family
Explaining to you
Everything that happened
Who your parents are
And how you are loved

One day we will all be together
And then we can rejoice
For the crazy existence
that we all had
I praise God that I got to have
a little piece of me
in the world
if only for a moment!

The tent is up
The rain pours down
The cupcake dies
The queen sits on her throne
The king strums his guitar
The sun pours from the heavens
The guests make their way
The hugs are shared
The families proceed
The groom escorts
The flower girl runs back and forth
The bride beams
The invocation is prayed
The hand is given
The vows are said
The rings exchanged
The song is sung
The communion is taken
The kiss seals the deal
The cheers ring out
The proclamation is shouted
The certificate is signed
The food is eaten
The pictures are taken
The fireworks are beautiful
The toast is given
The dancers twirl
The couple rides off into the night to begin a lifetime of happiness!

I burst out of my seams
You collected sea shells
I cried in the sand
You held my hand
I was comforted
We left together
And in love!
