I almost let hope die

Then you walked through the door

And my world was turned upside down

All those things I thought I'd buried

Resurfaced for all the world to see

And then hope reappeared

How beautiful my vision

How clear the view

How spectacular the sight

Hope revived what was lost

Hope restores what was stolen

Hope replaced what was missing

How full the peace that flows

How fragrant the scent of love

How figurative the faith that binds

You walked me through the healing

The world could see a change

The smile radiated across my face

You came at the perfect time

You sticked up what was bleeding

And hope was reborn

I need to remember to whom I belong -

For someone chose to say that to me!
